Dehesas
y Viñedos Navamarin is located in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula , Castilla-La Mancha in Spain, precisely in Don Quixote's Route, home land
of the most daring and famous literary knight: Don Quixote of La Mancha.
The property and its vineyards are located
at a height of more than three thousand feet above sea-level in a privileged
natural enclave surrounded by oaks, thyme, rosemary, lavender and other
plants and aromatic shrubs native to the region. All the vineyards are meticulously
managed in order to produce the finest grapes. Navamarin practices low-yield
harvesting and picks the grapes at night to ensure maximum ripeness.
The vineyards Navamarin were planted in 2000, with the first wine produced
in the 2004 vintage. Since then, the wines have won multiple prizes in different
national and international contests, all of them organized and supervised
by the O.I.V and Vinofed. All the wines multivarietal blends and are marketed
under the "ALDONZA" label.
Navamarin's motto: "Perfect balance and harmony between technology, art
and tradition."
