Aldonza: Navamarin Limited Edition 2007

Type of wine: Barrel-aged red wine.

Grapes: 38% Cabernet-Sauvignon - 36% Merlot
23% Syrah - 3% Tempranillo

Vineyard Location: Albacete, Tierra de Castilla, Spain

Vinification: Produced from specially selected grapes grown on low-yield vines and harvested at night for maximum ripeness The wine is carefully fermented in strict temperature-controlled conditions and then aged for thirteen months followed by another thirteen months of bottle-ageing in our cellars.

Barrel Aging: New American and French oak barrels.

Aged: 13 months in new American and French oak barrels.
Bottle-aged for 13 months prior to release.

Production: 1250 cases

Alcohol: 14%

Serving Temperature: 60ºF - 64ºF

Tasting Notes: Intense cherry red color with purple undertones, clear and vibrant. Deep, intense roasted aromas with hints of cacao, ripe red fruits and spices. On the palate, it emphasizes perfect harmony between wood, cacao, and vanilla with red fruits. Very long on the finish with well-balanced tannins. An extraordinary, pleasant and delicious wine.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with cheese, meat, stews and game.
