At the end of the I8th Century, a group of French Missionaries arrived in Chile to spread their faith and bring part of their knowledge of the old world to the indigenous populations. They settled next to the Clarillo river, In the Maipo Valley, and here they, discovered a land of exceptional potential for winemaking.
