Bodega Pizzorno - Uruguay
Don Próspero:   Tannat / Cabernet Franc 2013


 

This wine is made from a blend of Uruguay's famed Tannat grape 50% with Cabernet Franc 50%. Each variety was harvested at its optimum maturity stage and produced by traditional vinification. .

The must was fermented in stainless steel during 10 days at controlled density and temperature between 18 and 22ºC.

Lightly press. After the fermentation, the Malolactic fermentation took placed in stainless steel at a controlled temperature.


This blend has a lively red colour.

It has an elegant aroma of red fruits (strawberries and raspberries).

In the mouth it feels soft and fresh, with mature tanning that provide roundness and equilibrium. Delicate ending, yet persistent.

Drink with chicken, lamb, pasta, pizzas and cheese.
