Pirque, Maipo Valley, Chile


The Viña William Fèvre Chile, created in 1992, associates the know-how of several French producers from the regions of Champagne and Burgundy, and of the Pino family, one of the oldest wine growing families of the Maipo Valley.
The general manager, Mr. William Fèvre, one of the main shareholders and the most important Chablis Grands Crus grower, has become famous in the wine business by dedicating more than 30 years in perfecting the art of winemaking in his French Estates.



 



Mendoza and Patagonia, Argentina


Domaine Vistalba was created in 1992 by Bordeaux vintners who have decided to export their traditional savoir-faire in wine to Argentina. They have visited various parts of the most famous Argentinean soils and terroirs before selecting two regions: the most renowned one, Mendoza, and probably the most unusual one, Patagonia.



 



Canelones, Uruguay


Founder of the winery in 1910, Don Prospero Jose Pizzorno, an Italian visionary and erterprising immigrant, was the inspiration of a century long family tradition. His grandson, Carlos continues with the same love and respect for nature and carries on a family legacy that hasn't lost a single element of that fine wine tradition and that has adapted to our times with the most advanced techniques in cultivating the vines, elaborating wine and searching for oenoligst excellence. Having reconverted both vineyards and winery the Pizzorno Family Wines truly represent a rich and prosperous land.



 



Castilla-La Mancha, Spain


0rusco Daniel Almazan belongs to a long line of winemakers. His family owns a winery that was started in 1896. He is a fourth generation winemaker. Since 1989 he has been working all the vintages and in 1998 he started directing the production of the family winery as well as other wineries. He graduated from the "Universidad de Castilla la Mancha." with a degree in Agricultural Engineer, specializing in Industrial Agribusiness. He also has a Master in Viticulture and Enology Wine Marketing by The International Social Science Council. Orusco has written, directed and collaborated on technical implementation projects of 11 new wineries from their creation to their completion.



 



Carneros, Napa Valley, USA


Dr. Kosta M. Arger, president of Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates, and Rich Martucci, who founded and sold the InterWest community bank and mortgage chains in Reno, Nevada, recently formed Arger-Martucci Vineyards to make wine from their vineyards in Napa Valley, California.
