Lilia Chardonnay Clasico 2013

 
Grapes: 100 % Chardonnay grapes.

Harvest: Harvesting is performed manually and the grapes are transported in small trays to the cellar in order not to damage them.

The grapes are sorted meticulously prior to vinification.

Vinification : Traditional methods of production are used in the winery: following 8 hours of skin contact, the must is pressed with a pneumatic press and settled at low temperature before fermenting at a controlled temperature of 16°C 20% of the wine is directly fermented in new French oak barrels and aged during 12 months on the lies with batonage once a week. The rest of wine is kept in vats at low temperature in order to preserve its aroma.

Tasting notes: Golden yellow color with tones of green.

Complex bouquet, tropical fruits like pineapple and bananas well integrated with hints of butter and toasted bread.

On the palate is fresh but also unctuous and it has very good structure.

A typical Chardonnay with a full taste, excellent balance and harmony, a great value for the price.
